Trilby Station, located on the Darling River just outside
of Louth in NW NSW, offers a range of air-conditioned accommodation
to suit all. This includes the renovated Overseers and
Jillaroos cottages, and the new Shearers Bunkhouse.
Trilby Station also has powered sites with lawn and all amenities,
and secluded river campsites dotted amongst the giant river
red gums. Delicious country style meals are available by prior

Fully renovated in 2003, this homely 2 bedroom
cottage with antique furniture and polished floorboards
is fully fenced and adjacent to the Darling River.
Relax on your verandah and enjoy this peaceful
outback retreat.
The Overseers cottage is air-conditioned
and heated and includes electric blankets, all
linen, Austar, TV, full kitchen including microwave,
laundry, iron, hair dryer, gas BBQ and outdoor
furniture.
Guests may choose to self cater or be pampered
by Liz with meals served to your cottage.

This fully renovated, air-conditioned and heated
cottage is also 2 bedroom though smaller
than the Overseers, with your private bathroom
a few steps outside your door. Theres a
fascinating story as to why

you when you arrive.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second
two singles and a trundle. The small kitchen/living
room is fully equipped and guests enjoy the patio
and BBQ area.
The Jillaroos Cottage is situated on the
edge of our large homestead garden and you can
choose to self cater or enjoy Lizs home
cooked meals delivered to your cottage.

8 Twin bedrooms
1 Double bedroom (with fireplace). Established in 1998
when the old quarters burned down, the six inside twin
bedrooms have reverse cycle air-conditioning while the
three older outside bedrooms have ceiling fans. Bedrooms
also have all linen supplied and electric blankets.
The communal caterers size kitchen has everything
you could possibly need and the dining/living room features
a slow combustion wood heater, TV, video and a large
collection of historic memorabilia and photos relating
to the history of the paddle-steamers and Trilby
once a part of the million acres Dunlop first
ever in the world to complete a mechanical shearing
in 1888. Also check out our taxidermy dingo, responsible
for slaughtering over 100 sheep in one paddock before
we shot him, pig with huge tusks and the feral goat
with trophy width horns.

The Bunkhouse is close to the river, surrounded
by shady lawns and has a gas BBQ, gazebo and paved
campfire area to relax around.
