Sleep under a 64 million year old roof on your next trip to the Outback! PJ’s Underground B&B and self contained cottage is built into the old mines of Turley’s Hill at White Cliffs. The old time miners of 100 years ago have gone but the history and the atmosphere live on with the modern conveniences we enjoy today. Once when you gazed from our front door you would have enjoyed ocean views – now a wonderful dry landscape framed by the Warwick Ranges and a horizon over 50km away.
Come and experience White Cliffs - mining, opal, really interesting locals, and your own space.. no crowds.. no trains to miss.. fresh air and PJ’s Underground. Email or talk to us today and we can help you plan your next trip with Staying with Friends, Staying with Outback Beds.

Your Hosts:
Peter and Joanne really do come from a "land from down under.” The accommodation at PJ's Underground in an incredible collection of man made chambers and rooms hewn into the earth over one hundred years ago as opal miners sought the elusive crystal opal. Underground, you’ll enjoy a naturally comfortable temperature of around 22 degree Celsius.
Joanne and Peter recommend you try your luck at fossicking around the mullock heaps, or just take a book and a chair and sit on the roof and watch the ocean views ( these days you’ll only be 60 million years too late!)
