Charleville Bush Cottage
Located on 62 acres just 2 km from the heart of Charleville you can relax in our beautifully appointed cottage or in your own caravan. Charleville being one of the ‘hubs’ of Queensland’s Outback offers many things to see & do, from stargazing at the Cosmos Centre to meeting a Bilby, the Convoy Tour to learn about the World War II Top Secret USA Base, a treasure hunt at Historic House and a tour of historic Hotel Corones!
The local lawn bowls club also welcomes visitors to play seriously or socially and the Central Warrego Race Club holds seven meetings a year from March to November. Charleville Bush Cottage & Caravan Park is open from Easter until mid October and caters for Non-Smokers Only, No Pets and is unsuitable for children.

Graham & Deb own & operate Travel West Tours together with their cottage & caravan park in Charleville, Qld. Licensed Travel Agents & tour operators, Graham & Deb have enjoyed showing people some great parts of the outback including Birdsville, Innamincka & around the Corner Country to Tibooburra for the past 15 years, as well as in recent years showing people the spectacle that is Lake Eyre.
2012 will see Graham & Deb leave their tour bus in Charleville for around town tours, whilst they operate 4WD Tag Along Tours to Birdsville, Innamincka and around the Corner Country – all motel/cabin accommodated & fully inclusive. Tours are limited to 8 cars and cater for Non-Smokers Only. Departures from Charleville in May, June, July & August.
So park up your caravan for a week and join Graham & Deb – your key to outback adventure. Travels West also operate flights to see Lake Eyre in a Day from Charleville. Board their chartered Dash 8 and receive clear, interesting commentary from Graham for the day and also visit the iconic Birdsville Hotel. Departures most Saturday’s from 14 April 2012. 2012 will also see the introduction of the Travel West Air Safari to Central Australia & the Kimberly, commencing in Brisbane and including Longreach, Birdsville, over Lake Eyre to Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock, Kununurra, Broome and Alice Springs. Graham will provide interesting & informative commentary for this once in a lifetime tour. Departures May & June 2012.

Once you’ve had a good look around Charleville and also enjoyed some relaxation, why not join Graham & Deb on their fully inclusive, motel accommodated 4WD Tag Along Tour to Birdsville, Innamincka and around Cameron Corner to Tibooburra. Getting Here:
Charleville Bush Cottage & Caravan Park is located just 2km from the heart of Charleville. Coming from town - cross over the Warrego River and turn left onto the road to Quilpie, also known as Frawley Street. Drive 1.5km, looking out on the right for our old caravan at the front gate (large white gates with horseshoes).

Charleville Bush Cottage was fully renovated in 2009. It is a spacious, self-contained cottage with full kitchen including dishwasher, one queen size bed and comfortable recliner lounge chairs and large flat screen TV.
