Buckanbe Station was renowned for having Black Horses and one outlaw Stallion called 'Midnight' that no one could ride.A challenge went out for anyone to ride him.Story has it that he was ridden to a standstill and when he would not buck anymore the part aboriginal stockman took off his hat and Coo-eed "Buck you Bucking Bee" or so the legend has it .
