Kilcowera is 49,000 ha of remote rangelands and wilderness country adjoining the world heritage listed Currawinya National Park. Its' eastern boundary is the magnificent Lake Wyara, 6000 ha of salt water which provides a refuge and breeding place for vast numbers of migratory birds. The western boundary is the dingo barrier fence that basically keeps the dingoes out and separates the cattle country from the sheep country. Kilcowera and most of its neighbouring properties were once part of the great Sir Sydney Kidman's empire.
