Testimonial:

"I visited your motel last week-end & am writing to tell you how much I enjoyed staying there. The meals were great and the gardens beautiful - a credit to you both. The whole motel is unique (and I have stayed in many) & have been busy telling all and sundry how great and different it was! "

Your Hosts:

RequiredOwners and Hosts John and Sipha Hickson came to Bourke 10 years ago seeking a tree change, purchased the Telegraph Hotel (the oldest standing hotel in Bourke, circa 1873), and immediately set about renovating it.

No longer a pub, this historic icon now offers indulgent accommodation with elaborate breakfasts, beautiful rooms and superb amenities. The motel is set in over 2 acres of spacious, shady grounds which are home for over 400 roses and many other beautiful flowering trees, shrubs and gardens.

The gardens at the motel have won numerous awards including Grand Champion garden and Most Successful Exhibitor at both rose and flower shows within the district.
