Watersports, fishing and just plain relaxing can be enjoyed
on the mighty Bogan River.
Make your way to the weir, where bird fanciers can enjoy the
diversity of bird life in the area.
Or pack a picnic and just embrace the peaceful surrounds as
a breeze rustles through the riverbank trees.

The Mid-State Shearing Shed was built in a disused railway
goods shed by a group of retired shearers and the people of
Nyngan. Their wish was to inform the public of the important
contribution that the shearing industry has made to Nyngan
and NSW. The Mid-State Shearing Shed is also home to many
artworks created by local artists.
